We offer hatching eggs from:
During breeding season we offer:
We're really proud of our Blue/Black/Splash True Ameraucanas. They are not only beautiful with impressive muffs, they lay an exceptional blue egg!
To help repopulate the chicken flocks in Paradise (so many were lost to the fire), several farms from all over California, along with hatcheries from other states,
Holly from Rusted Roost farm organized to gather these chicks and chickens for a give-a-way! It was so successful and without enough to go around, she organized a second give-a-way! We actually had more chicks then people so I brought home the leftovers to make it easy for those who missed out to pick them up! They are FREE to current or prior Paradise residents.
We still have several Polish and Orpingtons available. Send a message to see what we have.

Papa's Poultry from Redding, CA..
We've been raising chickens and selling chicks, and eggs for eating and hatching since the early 1990's, as a hobby farmer.
In November 2018, our whole town burned down from the Camp Fire. We owned a wine bar, restaurant, gift shop and art glass studio in downtown Paradise for the last 18 years. Unfortunately, there is no longer a town to do business in and won't be for years to come.
We didn't lose our farm to this fire, ironically because we almost lost our home 2 years ago to the Saddle Fire. 3 of our neighbors weren't so lucky. When the Camp Fire hit the burn scar from the Saddle Fire it was forced to go around us and while it did come back up from behind us, firefighters were able to burn off the grass and keep us safe.
We are still here, a limited town, most of our family and friends have moved away and left to help our family without a home get the kids from schools in two different towns so I needed to have a flexible job (I'm not ready to retire) and having been self employed all my life, I needed an idea!
As I was sitting in my "chicken chair" enjoying a glass of wine and my chickens, I realized my job was pooping and pecking right in front of me. And so, High 'N Dry Farm is taking the next step to step up the farm, promote egg sales from farm to table and all things chicken. Watch us grow!
Our farm raises English Springer Spaniels.
Friendly, Playful, Obedient
The English Springer Spaniel is a sweet-faced, lovable bird dog of great energy, stamina, and brains. Sport hunters cherish the duality of working Springers: handsome, mannerly pets during the week, and trusty hunting buddies on weekends.
The English Springer Spaniel is a medium-sized sporting dog, with a compact body and a docked tail. His coat is moderately long, with feathering on his legs, ears, chest and brisket. His pendulous ears, soft gentle expression, sturdy build and friendly wagging tail proclaim him unmistakably a member of the ancient family of Spaniels. He is above all a well-proportioned dog, free from exaggeration, nicely balanced in every part. His carriage is proud and upstanding, body deep, legs strong and muscular, with enough length to carry him with ease. Taken as a whole, the English Springer Spaniel suggests power, endurance and agility. He looks the part of a dog that can go, and keep going, under difficult hunting conditions. At his best, he is endowed with style, symmetry, balance and enthusiasm, and is every inch a sporting dog of distinct spaniel character, combining beauty and utility.
